Sutus Offers Business Central Device at SOHO-Grade Price

Sutus, an all-in-one telephony and data communications vendor, announced that it will be offering its Business Central device at a SOHO (small office/home office)-grade price.

The new reduced pricing of the enterprise-grade advanced telephony and networking technology device, facilitates in reducing the total cost of ownership (TCO) for small businesses, thereby making the device the most competitive small business solution on the market, said the company.

Starting from a MSRP of $2199, the Sutus (News - Alert) Business Central is an all-in-one device that integrates a wide array of advanced telephony, data and networking features required to run a modern-day office.

Designed specifically for offices with up to 25 users and nicknamed as 'office-in-a-box,' the Business Central device features Unified Communications (News - Alert) (UC) and offers all key IT infrastructures, on-demand VoIP and other advanced phone and data services, through Sutus business partners.

Apart from featuring business productivity functionalities such as business-class phone system, file server, e-mail server, router, firewall, wireless access point, VPN remote access server and automated backups, the Sutus Business Central device has the capability to simultaneously support both standard phone line and VoIP connections.

The Business Central is a ‘multi-service business gateway’ (MSBG) device as well. It performs all the tasks of a gateway or edge device, thereby facilitating both the company and its business partners to seamlessly deliver a wide range of turnkey hosted services, such as remote device management, VoIP, back-up and disaster recovery, said Sutus.

According to In-Stat (News - Alert), the multi-service business gateways (MSBG) combine phone systems with other mission-critical components like routers and servers. The research firm has estimated the MSBG market at $615 million in 2007 and is projected to jump to $2.6 billion by 2010.

Shawn Chute, executive vice president of Sutus, said, "Now more than ever, small businesses need an affordable, reliable solution that meets their IT and communication requirements and can grow with them. Sutus has always been the "all-in-one" solution that is easy to install, use and manage, added to these advantages now is the fact that we have the most affordable all-in-one IT and communications product available for small businesses."

According to Sutus, the Business Central device considerably enhances a reseller's ability to easily service small business customers with locations of 25 users or less.

Business Central received Internet Telephony (News - Alert) magazine's 2007 product of the year award, VON Innovators Award 2008, Unified Communications product of the year awards and IT Expo's 'Best Newcomer' award.
